Mersey Solid Oak Bed Frame with Recessed Angled Bed Legs
Contemporary Craftsmanship with Character
Handcrafted in The Old Joinery, Berkhamsted, the Mersey bed frame pairs solid oak construction with a bolder, more dynamic stance. Its defining feature is the recessed angled oak legs, which sit neatly beneath the side rails for a clean, modern look.
Unlike traditional designs where the legs sit at each corner, the Mersey’s legs are positioned approximately 200mm in from the ends of the bed. This set-back detail gives the frame a lighter, more contemporary silhouette and makes it less likely you’ll catch your toes as you move around the bed. The angled stance creates a subtle sense of movement and precision-engineered strength.
The leg functions as both structural support and a key visual statement in the design.
