At The Old Joinery in Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire, we design and manufacture bedroom furniture that’s built properly — from premium solid oak, made with care, and finished to look better with age.

Made to fit your room

Bedrooms rarely have “perfect” spaces. That’s why we offer standard sizes and the option of bespoke sizing on many items. If you need a specific width, height, or depth to work around a layout, skirting, sockets or alcoves — we can usually make it happen.

If you want everything to feel intentionally matched, we can help you build a cohesive set — and we can also fit matching solid oak legs to our handmade bed frames, so your bed ties in beautifully with your bedside furniture and storage.

Everything is made in our workshop with a blend of precision machining and traditional hand-finishing. The goal is simple: furniture that feels solid, looks right, and lasts.
