Fair Pricing Promise at "The Oak Bed Workshop"
No fake discounts. No gimmicks. Just honest manufacturer pricing.
At OakBeds, we manufacture our products — we don’t simply resell them. That means our pricing is built from real costs: quality materials, skilled workmanship, machinery, and production. We don’t inflate prices just to “discount” them later.
We don’t do Black Friday, Cyber Monday, or Boxing Day sales
You won’t see dramatic markdowns or “was £X, now £Y” pricing, because we don’t play the pricing game.
If you buy from OakBeds today, you can feel confident that:
- the price won’t suddenly drop the week after you order
- there’s no “wait for the sale” pressure
- you’re paying a fair price from the start
Buy when you’re ready — not when a timer tells you
We want you to order with certainty, not second-guessing. A bed is a long-term purchase and your decision should be based on what’s right for your home — not on discount cycles.
That’s why we keep our pricing straightforward and consistent all year round.
When do prices go down?
It’s rare — and only for genuine reasons.
The only time we can reduce prices is when our manufacturing costs truly reduce, for example:
- we invest in new machinery that improves efficiency
- we streamline production without lowering quality
- our input costs drop in a meaningful, sustainable way
In short: prices only fall when it costs us less to make the same product properly.
The reality: prices generally only move one way
Like most UK manufacturers, our costs tend to rise over time — materials, energy, wages, and transport. We work hard to keep pricing stable, but long-term, the trend is usually upwards.
That’s exactly why we avoid artificial “sale” pricing: we’d rather be honest and consistent than inflate and discount.
