Handcrafted in The Old Joinery, Berkhamsted, the Arden Zip & Link Solid Oak Bed Frame brings elegance, engineering, and adaptive functionality together. Designed for both premium domestic settings and commercial environments, it offers the strength of traditional joinery with the flexibility of independent bases that can be joined or separated as needed.
Its defining feature is the recessed, vertical pill-shaped solid oak legs, each expressed with an external jigsaw-style joint where the leg meets the side rail. Positioned approximately 200mm in from each end, the legs sit away from the corners, reducing the likelihood of bumping toes while giving the bed a subtly elevated, contemporary presence. The pill-shaped profile adds softness and architectural clarity in equal measure.
This Zip & Link configuration offers full versatility — functioning as a unified bed or as two completely independent sleeping surfaces — ideal for guest rooms, luxury hotels, B&Bs, rental accommodation, and flexible household layouts.
