Each of our beautiful king sized oak beds are hand-built in our joinery workshop in Middlesex, U.K. All of our standard options are suitable to use with standard U.K. size mattresses (5 foot x 6 foot 6’’). Whenever you invest in a king sized bed, we respect that you want a product that not only looks great, but stands the test of time and sees you through many years to come in comfort and style.
With this in mind, we can assure you that we only source and use the finest quality oak when we design and make our beautiful hand-made oak king beds. Yes, our King-size bed frame has fixing holes located at the back of the bed frame that are designed to attach a headboard. The distance between the fixing holes on our King-size bed frames is approximately 48 inches (1219mm) apart. If the bed frame doesn't come with an integrated headboard, you can use these fixing holes to attach a headboard to the bed frame.

Yes, our King-size bed frames are suitable for use with Zip and Link mattresses. However, it's important to note that the bed frame cannot be split. If you require the flexibility to split the bed frame from time to time, we recommend purchasing two Long Small Single Bed Frames, which typically measure 2ft 6 inches by 6ft 6 inches each. By purchasing two of these bed frames, you can easily convert them into a King-size bed when needed, and separate them into two separate beds when required.
