The Charnwood 6ft super king solid oak bed frame is a statement of calm craftsmanship and understated design. Despite its generous proportions, the low platform height and recessed leg placement keep the frame feeling balanced and refined.
Circular solid oak legs are set back from the corners and integrated using traditional jigsaw-style joinery, delivering outstanding strength across the wider span.
Made by hand in The Old Joinery, Berkhamsted, this super king bed is built to last a lifetime and anchor the bedroom with quiet confidence.
Two Circular Leg Options
The Charnwood is available with two solid oak leg styles, letting you choose how much joint detail you want to see:
Full Circle with External Decorative Joint
A complete circular leg with an expressed external joint — a proud detail that highlights the build quality and gives the design a clear signature.
Semi-Circle Visible Detail
A more understated option, where the circular leg is partially concealed within the frame, leaving a softer semi-circular profile visible.
Both options are recessed into the rails and positioned set-back from the corners for comfort, balance, and a crisp silhouette.
